Taking Putzmeister to the World

• 1970s: Swing-tube technology used on wet-process shotcrete equipment, making application and use more practical.

• 1971: Opening of production plant in Aichtal. Putzmeister delivers its 1,000th concrete pump
  
  

• 1974: Putzmeister establishes branches in France, Italy, Spain, Great Britain, and Brazil

• 1977: Putzmeister sets the world record in high rise concrete pumping at 310 m at the Post Office Tower in Frankfurt, Germany
  
  

• 1978: New world record set for concrete pumping to a height of 340 m over a total distance of 600 m at the St. Gotthard Tunnel, Switzerland
